Why Captions take us long to write

If you've ever wondered why it takes us forever to post something — it’s because captions are hard. Not just “what should we say” hard, but “how do we say this our way” hard. Every post is a reflection of the world we’re building with Aine, and that means it has to feel right. Not just sound good. Not just follow trends. But actually carry the kind of energy we believe in.

As an independent eyewear brand, we’re not just selling sunglasses. We’re sharing a point of view — one rooted in rebellion, identity, and that untouchable main character energy. Every detail matters, even the caption. If it doesn’t feel bold, deliberate, or like something you'd want to screenshot, it doesn’t make the cut. That’s how much we care about building this with intention.

So yeah — it might take us a few extra days to post something, or we could archive something we don;t like the caption of and re-release it. But that’s part of the process.

 We’re not here to churn things out. We’re here to make you feel something. Whether it’s a frame design or a few lines of text, we want it to say: this is yours. You chose this. You picked to express yourself outwardly in a way everyone can get behind.
